Chinese airplane carrying medical supplies lands in Islamabad

ISLAMABAD: A cargo airplane of Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) carrying protecting gears to struggle coronavirus from China on Friday landed on the Islamabad airport. 

The PIA flight PK-8897 arrived from Chengdu to Islamabad.

The protecting tools embody masks, gloves, sanitizers, testing kits and others to assist Pakistan in struggle towards the lethal virus. The flight was disinfected upon touchdown on the airport by the authorities.

The tools was obtained by the Pakistani authorities on the runway, the sources stated.

On Wednesday, a Turkish airplane carrying protecting gears had reached Islamabad.

The airplane was carrying 20,000 N-95 masks and 18500 security robes, for Pakistani medical doctors working in hospitals for remedy of corona-infected sufferers,reported Radio Pakistan.

Deputy Head of Mission of Turkish Consulate handed over the tools to the Deputy Chairman of NDMA on the airport.

Earlier this month, a particular airplane of Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) from China with medical supplies relating to coronavirus pandemic had reached Islamabad.
